If photoshoots make you a little nervous, you’re in good company. The questions below cover what most people want to know before our session. The short version: come as you are, bring your people, and let me handle the rest.
Think relaxed, easy, fun. I’ll guide you when you need it, but nothing will feel overly posed or forced. The goal isn’t perfection, it is connection. We’ll move, play, explore a bit, play your favorite music if that’s your thing, and let things unfold naturally so your photos feel like you, not a version of yourself trying to “do it right.”
The short answer: something you feel good in. The longer answer: stick to soft, neutral, or earthy tones, and avoid loud patterns and logos. Think textures and layers over matched outfits. We love flowy dresses, cozy knits, simple basics — things that move and feel natural. Once you book, I’m happy to help you plan outfits or give feedback if you’re between options.
Totally normal and honestly expected. There’s zero pressure for kids to perform. Some of the best moments come from the in-between: cuddles, comfort, laughter after tears. We’ll take breaks, give snacks, go at their pace, follow their lead.
Most shoots take place outdoors at a park or natural location in the PGH area. I am located in the East End, so I am partial to the natural beauty Frick Park has to offer. Lifestyle sessions can also happen in your home or a mix of locations — wherever feels most like your life right now. Once you book, we’ll choose a location together based on the vibe you want.

Yes, all selected images are delivered in a private online gallery where you can download, share, and print.
You’ll receive your edited gallery within about 1 week for most sessions. For lifestyle sessions, this may be up to 2 weeks. I always aim to get them to you as quickly as possible, and I’ll give you a few sneak peeks within a few days!
Yes! You’ll have the option to order high-quality prints directly from your gallery. You’re also free to download your images and print them wherever you’d like — but if you want an easy, high-quality option, I’ve got you covered.
Yes, please. I fully support dogs in photos!
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply reschedule. No stress.
A small deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due before your session.
